Not quite ready for full-day preschool? Looking for an alternative way for your keiki to gain the social, and practical skills they need? Get ready for preschool while having fun with creative play, sensory activities, and preschool readiness skill-building at ARTLab Maui. We will play and learn as we build foundational skills: - Pre-reading early literacy skills - Holding a crayon, marker, or pencil - Coloring pictures and drawing simple shapes - Making continuous cuts on a line with scissors - Manipulating play dough to make simple objects or figures - Naming and sorting colors and shapes - Practicing writing names and numerals 1-10 - Following two-step directions - Focusing on an activity until it is complete - 6 Weekly 60 minute sessions - Small group, drop-off class for ages 3-5 - Must be potty trained and comfortable with drop-off - Class taught by credentialed instructor
