Party Policies

General Party Information

  • 2 caregivers for guest of honor are welcome

  • Please invite only 1 caregiver per guest artist under age 7

  • Only guests ages 7+ may attend without a caregiver

  • Please invite a maximum of 8 guests (ages 2-5)

  • Please invite a maximum of 10 guests (ages 6 + up)

  • Due to time constraints we cannot accommodate outside refreshments

  • Please take gifts from guests home to open at a later time

  • Please communicate any special requests or needs PRIOR to party

Cancellations/Refunds

  • Contact the studio by phone (808-666-0111) to cancel or reschedule a party

  • Party cancellations via voicemail, text, or email will not be accepted

  • Parties may be rescheduled up to two weeks prior to the party date, based on availability

  • Parties cancelled within two weeks of the party date will not be refunded

Caregiver Conduct

  • When caregivers join in the fun children are more likely to join in

  • Please encourage engagement by switching off your phone when possible

  • Please refrain from feeding your child outside snacks

Photos and Videos

  • We will occasionally take photographs and video footage of our artists and their creations

  • We sometime use such images for the purpose of promoting ArtLab services online and in print

  • Please inform us immediately if you do NOT wish us to use such images and footage

  • By signing the registration form without informing us that you do not wish your child to be photographed or filmed, you give us permission to use images and /or footage in publicity materials.

 

Clothing

  • Art is messy! Please dress appropriately

  • We do try as much as possible to use water based products

  • Lab coats or aprons are available

  • ArtLab takes no responsibility for damage to clothing

 

COVID Safety Precautions 

PROCEDURES MAY CHANGE OR BE UPDATED BASED ON UPDATED RESTRICTIONS AND GUIDANCE

  • CDC and state/local guidelines will be enforced

  • Masks are currently required for staff, students, and guests

  • Please do not attend ArtLab if your child or anybody in your family have any COVID19 symptoms

  • Children exhibiting symptoms will not be allowed but will be offered a make-up session

  • We will operate with small class groups of children (10 or fewer per class)

  • Table & chairs arranged to promote social distancing

  • Art "stations" arranged to maintain space and minimize close contact

  • Group ‘Bubbles’ and block bookings are in place

  • Activities limit sharing of resources whenever possible

  • Drop-off and collection avoid clustering and to minimize adult to adult contact

  • Hand Sanitizing required upon entering and hand washing area available
