Lab Description

Need dedicated time to create? Open Studio offers artists a welcoming space to work independently, stay motivated, and connect with a community of fellow creatives. Whether you're continuing a painting from class, experimenting with a new idea, or simply setting aside uninterrupted time for your creative practice, Open Studio provides a relaxed studio environment where you can focus on making art. This is non-instructional studio time. Artists work independently on their own projects while enjoying access to shared studio space and basic tools. While an instructor will be present to oversee the studio, formal instruction, demonstrations, and critiques are not included. 📅 Tuesdays 🕛 12:00–2:00 PM Open Studio Includes: Six weekly 2-hour studio sessions Shared studio workspace with dedicated work table Access rulers, water containers, palettes, brushes for communal use, paper towels, and basic studio tools Flexible arrival and departure during open studio time Artists Provide: Paints, mediums, and specialty supplies Canvases, paper, panels, or personal projects Any specialty tools unique to their work Please Note: Open Studio is intended for independent artists and is not a drop-in instructional class. Artists are responsible for setting up, cleaning their work area, and properly storing or taking home all materials at the end of each session.
