Lab Description

Celebrate a morning of creativity, color, and a little bit of luck at ARTLab Maui! Join us for an early Maneki Neko Day celebration as we create, craft, and celebrate one of Japan's most beloved symbols of good fortune. Young artists will sew a cuddly Lucky Cat sock plushie, paint a cheerful Lucky Cat canvas, create a lucky charm to clip onto a backpack or keychain, and enjoy themed treats along the way. As they create, kids will learn the story of the Maneki Neko and discover how this iconic Lucky Cat has become a symbol of happiness, friendship, and good luck. With plenty of opportunities to personalize every project, each child will head home with handmade keepsakes that are as unique as they are.
